This year our goal is to raise $150,000 from corporate and community partners in support of noteworthy educational opportunities and programs for the 25,000 students of IUSD. Please help us reach our goal and make a tax deductible contribution to IPSF today. Remember that many companies provide matching gift programs and, through programs like United Way, the opportunity to designate IPSF as your charity of choice. By working together that we can continue to provide the high caliber of education here in Irvine that is on par with private school alternatives.
Funds will support the following programs:
· The Health and Wellness of Our Kids –it is imperative that our students learn healthy habits and have access to quality healthcare resources at the school level. IPSF funds will provide additional nurses and health clerks, Type II Diabetes Screening, and leading edge health curriculum through the Great Body Shop.
· IPSF in the Classroom – IPSF supports educational experiences that directly and positively impact students, teachers and parents. IPSF provides funding for reduced class sizes, Innovative Teaching Awards (ITAP), Afterschool Classroom Enrichment (ACE) Program, Fine Arts Programs, and enhanced parent communication resources. We work in partnership with IUSD to help create quality educational experiences for all 25,000 IUSD students.
· Enhanced Multi-Cultural Understanding – In our diverse community, it is essential that we learn how to communicate with others in ways that are effective, respectful and meaningful. Through innovative programs designed to advance multi-cultural understanding, we are taking a leadership role preparing our students for the future through the Program to Advance Cultural Education (PACE).
